Austin Metcalf\u2019s father stared down and scolded \u201cdespicable\u201d Karmelo Anthony when his son\u2019s killer refused to look him in the eyes during his emotional victim impact statement.<\/p>\n

Jeff Metcalf demanded that Anthony, 19, \u2018don\u2019t look down\u2019 after he was found guilty of first-degree murder in the fatal stabbing of 17-year-old Metcalf earlier Monday afternoon in a Collins County, Texas courthouse.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe were robbed!\u201d the elder Metcalf cried out as he told Anthony to face him, according to WFAA, \u201cDon\u2019t look down!\u201d<\/p>\n

Anthony had been hanging his head down during the impact statements and refused to look at the Metcalf family members, which included Austin\u2019s father, mother, and twin brother Hunter.<\/p>\n

\u201cMy boys weren\u2019t bullies,\u201d Metcalf said, referring to the claims made against both Austin and Hunter that they had targeted Anthony for sitting under their school tent at Kuykendall Stadium in Frisco, Texas.<\/p>\n

\u201cMy son\u2019s death destroyed the person I used to be,\u201d he said. \u201cHe does not exist anymore.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cPeople think grief is sadness, it is not. It is rage. Pure unfiltered rage,\u201d Metcalf said as he slammed his fist against the table, angrily shouting, the outlet reported.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou failed your parents, you failed yourself, and you failed society\u2026 You don\u2019t belong in this community,\u201d he told Anthony. \u201cA piece of me died with my son, and I\u2019m expected to keep living.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou\u2019re going to prison. I forgave you the day it happened. I don\u2019t forgive what you did,\u201d he added. \u201cYou can\u2019t look me in the eyes but you can stab my f\u2013king son!\u201d<\/p>\n

Metcalf had been silenced by a gag order by the court for opposing the decision to place Anthony on house arrest while awaiting trial.<\/p>\n

He blamed the teen\u2019s crazed supporters for swatting his home six times.<\/p>\n

The outraged Metcalf briefly mentioned the pro-Karmelo Anthony protesters who had formed outside the courthouse as he shot down the group\u2019s claims that the trial was racist against a young black teen who had committed the stabbing in self-defense.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis was never about race,\u201d he said. \u201cIt is about right and wrong. The public\u2019s response sickens me\u2026 The moral decay is frightening.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n
