President Trump labeled the California primaries \u201ccrooked\u201d in a blistering tirade and threatened \u201cgreat trouble and consternation\u201d if the Republicans are locked out in November\u2019s general election.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Trump\u2019s fiery threat comes as Spencer Pratt was pushed into third place in the Los Angeles mayoralty primary for the first time Sunday, five days after polls closed, and Steve Hilton hasn\u2019t stamped his ticket to November\u2019s gubernatorial election yet.<\/p>\n

\u201cHas anybody been watching the CROOKED Election going on in California,\u201d Trump raged on Truth Social Sunday.<\/p>\n

\u201cTwo great Republican Candidates are being cheated, and so is America, which if the Dumocrats are able to fulfill their mission, great trouble and consternation will follow.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cWatch this \u2018Election\u2019 closely!!!\u201d<\/p>\n

Trump previously claimed the Democrats are \u201ctrying to steal the elections\u201d and announced a probe into the sluggish vote count.<\/p>\n

Pratt was overtaken by far-left Democrat Nithya Raman, five days after she wept while addressing her supporters as the results began to trickle in.<\/p>\n

And prediction market Polymarket suggests Raman\u2019s chances of making the run-off are 99%, with Pratt on 1%.<\/p>\n

Raman has managed to overtake Pratt by gaining more votes than the former reality TV star in every update that has been provided since Tuesday.<\/p>\n

Pratt\u2019s 8.1 percentage point lead over Raman that he held on election night has now turned into a 0.4% deficit.\u00a0<\/p>\n

There has been a swing of more than 43,000 votes from Pratt to Raman since election night.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Incumbent mayor Karen Bass has already confirmed her place in November\u2019s run-off \u2013 having received 34.7% of the vote with 83% of ballots counted.<\/p>\n

Raman\u2019s team told KNBC they were \u201cencouraged\u201d by the current results, while Pratt reacted to KNBC reporter Matthew Seedorff\u2019s post alluding to the net swing.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cA net swing of more than 43,000 votes since Tuesday\u2026 43,000, huh? Where have I seen that number before?\u201d Pratt wrote as he shared a screenshot of the Los Angeles Homeless Services Authority article, Why are there so many Homeless People in LA.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cProbably nothing.\u201d<\/p>\n

The article referred to LAHSA finding 43,699 people experienced homelessness on any given night in LA.<\/p>\n

California\u2019s vote count often stretches beyond Election Day because officials must verify signatures, process millions of vote-by-mail ballots, and conduct required audits before certifying results.<\/p>\n

State law gives county election officials up to 30 days after an election to complete the official canvass, count every valid ballot, and perform post-election checks to ensure accuracy.<\/p>\n

All California voters receive mail-in ballots and these are valid as long as they are posted by election day \u2013 and arrive at offices by June 9.<\/p>\n

The results must be reported to the California Secretary of State by July 3 \u2013 and these will be certified one week later.<\/p>\n

California\u2019s sluggish vote counting has irked Hilton, who has branded the saga a \u201cshambles.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThe world is laughing at our inability to count votes in a timely manner. Where is Gavin Newsom?\u201d he fumed on X.<\/p>\n

\n<\/div>\n

\u201cThe snail-like pace of the vote counting process in California is just another example of the incompetence and uselessness of the state government.\u201d<\/p>\n

Hilton labeled Xavier Becerra, who has already rubber-stamped his place at November\u2019s election, \u201cbumbling\u201d and said, \u201cIf he was in charge of the Olympics the 100 meters would take 6 days!\u201d<\/p>\n

Hilton told Fox News star Maria Bartiromo on \u201cSunday Morning Futures\u201d he\u2019s \u201cvery confident\u201d he will finish in the top two places \u2014 despite the slow vote count.<\/p>\n

He is 4.4 percentage points ahead of billionaire Democrat Tom Steyer and 72% of the vote has been counted.<\/p>\n
