The violent anti-ICE protests that have turned the Delaney Hall detention center into a war zone are not your garden-variety grassroots protesters \u2014 but part of a well-funded effort bankrolled by some of the biggest leftist organizations in the country.<\/p>\n

A recent analysis by Fox News Digital found that around 100 groups, which one expert dubbed the \u201cDelaney Hall 100,\u201d includes the American Civil Liberties Union, Indivisible and Democratic Socialists of America.<\/p>\n

These entities \u2014 with a combined revenues of nearly $825 million \u2014 are playing a major role in the violent demonstrations which have led to dozens of arrests, the outlet reported.<\/p>\n

Agitators are also using secretive groups on chat app Signal to coordinate and more effectively battle authorities at the facility which has become a national flashpoint.<\/p>\n

Fox News\u2019 investigation gathered tax filings, strategy documents and social media posts to piece together the rampant astroturfing taking place at Delaney Hall, which protesters have framed as a righteous struggle of the common man against cruel and oppressive authorities.<\/p>\n

The investigation unearthed a planning document called the \u201cDelaney Hall Creator Brief\u201d \u2014 which outlines talking points for activists such as calling the detention center a \u201cconcentration camp\u201d and calling detainees \u201cimprisoned prisoners\u201d and \u201ccaptives.\u201d<\/p>\n

Chuck Flint, a nonprofit expert and former US Senate chief of staff, told the outlet, \u201cwe should be very concerned\u201d about the Delaney Hall 100.<\/p>\n

\u201cProtests like the kind we\u2019re seeing outside Delaney Hall are not organic protests. These are manufactured strategic, calculated endeavors by an army of nonprofits meant to push subversive activity,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

\u201cThese groups generate annual revenues greater than many of the cities in which they protest. They act like military battalions with the ability to overwhelm a city\u2019s public safety resources.\u201d<\/p>\n

Flint, a former state prosecutor, likened the situation to \u201cDavid vs. Goliath.\u201d<\/p>\n

Through social media posts and chats in secretive Signal networks with monikers like\u00a0\u201cframed.unrest\u201d and \u201cWicked Something,\u201d agitators have coordinated on everything from transportation to logistics to the delivery of supplies like goggles, respirators and protective knee pads, the outlet writes.<\/p>\n

\u201cMost everything is concealed from the ground up to their identities in Signal chat rooms, their funding and names of the people on the streets and their leaders,\u201d said Flint.<\/p>\n

\u201cThey know what they are doing is wrong. They don\u2019t want you to know who is in charge. They have masks on. They don\u2019t want you to know anything about their organizations, their people. They are flipping the rules. They shout to the ICE agents: \u2018You all are wearing masks.\u2019 Meanwhile, they are wearing masks.\u201d<\/p>\n

Other far-left groups have been found to be in league with the anti-ICE demonstrators, including the US Revolutionary Communist Party, Speak Out Socialist, Refuse Fascism, Freedom Road Socialists Organization, Freedom Socialist Party and the Black Panthers.<\/p>\n

The first iteration of the Delaney Hall 100 dates back to February of last year, when federal contractor GEO Group Inc. announced it would reopen the facility as a federal immigration detention center with a long-term contract with ICE.<\/p>\n

As if on cue, activists started gathering around the facility, which expanded through the spring and summer when lefty politicians like Newark Mayor Ras Baraka, Rep. LaMonica McIver and others showed up demanding access to the facility.<\/p>\n

Baraka was arrested last May, and McIver was indicted on federal felony charges for forcibly impeding and interfering with federal officers.<\/p>\n

More recently, Democratic Sen. Andy Kim, Sen.\u00a0Cory Booker, New Jersey Gov. Mikie Sherrill, Rep. Rob Menendez and other left-wing NJ pols have made their own attention-grabbing stunt trips to Delaney Hall.<\/p>\n
