I kept thinking someone would step in. No one did.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Kwan says she started working at the Police Department as a college intern in 2021 and then became a full-time civilian employee in its IT department in 2025.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Her workplace hell began when NYPD Officer Quilbvio Espinal joined the Cyber Security Team in 2024, according to the lawsuit.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe repeatedly told her he wanted an \u2018Asian wife,\u2019 called her his \u2018baby momma,\u2019 openly boasted of his \u2018Asian fetish\u2019 and sent her a steady stream of pornographic and racist videos, including one that mocked the way a deaf woman moans during sex,\u201d said Kwan\u2019s lawyer, John Scola, to The Post.<\/p>\n<p>Then-Sgt. Jayson Valentin was Espinal\u2019s supervisor at the time \u2014 and soon joined in on the psychological torture, court documents allege.<\/p>\n<p>Kwan says in her suit that the horny cops proceeded to relentlessly bombard her with obscene sexual and racial texts, gross videos mocking her hearing disability and demands for nudes.<\/p>\n<p>Valentin sent her \u201cat least one\u201d X-rated picture himself \u2014 of his penis, court documents said.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Follow live updates on Mayor Zohran Mamdani\u2019s socialist agenda and the latest in NYC politics<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Read more <a href=\"https:\/\/metrotransitreview.com\/?p=1043\">Newark mayor to file lawsuit calling for shutdown of Delaney Hall immigration center after 10 days of clashes: Report<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u201cDoes it look like I would get a b\u2014 j\u2013 in private,\u201d said one of the several texts about oral sex sent to Kwan, according to the suit.<\/p>\n<p>Espinal also propositioned her for a threesome with his wife, the lawsuit claims.<\/p>\n<p>Valentin pestered Kwan for \u201csex and a threesome,\u201d too, the suit alleges.<\/p>\n<p>The victim\u2019s office nightmare hit a terrifying point at police headquarters in March when a spurned Espinal pointed his loaded, department-issued firearm straight at her face, according to court papers.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhen he pointed that gun at my face, time stopped,\u201d Kwan told The Post.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMy only thought was that I was going to die at my own desk and that I would never see the people I love again.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Espinal was slapped with handcuffs that night and currently faces menacing charges from the Manhattan District Attorney\u2019s Office.<\/p>\n<p>Kwan claims that\u2019s far from enough punishment \u2014 and notes that Valentin has since been promoted to lieutenant.<\/p>\n<div>\n<\/div>\n<p>Espinal\u2019s lawyer said, \u201cThis complaint is utterly preposterous, shameful, absurd, and entirely frivolous.\u2019\u2019<\/p>\n<p>Valentin\u2019s lawyer was unable to be reached.<\/p>\n<p>The NYPD, which is also named as a defendant in the lawsuit, was asked for comment by The Post and responded that Espinal has been suspended with pay.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cEvery part of it was preventable, and every part of it has changed my life,\u201d Kwan told The Post.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI am speaking out because no one should have to live through what I lived through and because I refuse to be made to feel ashamed for something that was done to me.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Read more <a href=\"https:\/\/metrotransitreview.com\/?p=1041\">Taxpayers get the victory as Trump\u2019s anti-weaponization fund dies<\/a><\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Megan Kwan, a deaf Asian NYPD tech worker, endured a twisted two-year campaign of sick sexual and racial harassment from a pair of male cops who tried to coax her into seamy threesomes, a bombshell new lawsuit claims.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":1,"featured_media":1046,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"closed","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"footnotes":""},"categories":[3],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-1047","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-metro"],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v27.6 -
