NYC mom stabbed to death hours before hubby’s body discovered hanging in nearby park in possible murder-suicide
A Queens mom was found stabbed to death inside her home early Tuesday — hours before her husband’s body was discovered hanging from a tree in a nearby park, police and sources said.
Mary Golding, 34, was stabbed in the back at 41st Street, near 19th Avenue, in Astoria at around 12:30 a.m., police said.
Investigators believe her husband might be connected to her slaying — and the two had gotten into an argument earlier that night, according to law enforcement sources.
He was found dead, hanging from a tree in Astoria Park about six hours later.
The couple leave behind an 11-month-old boy, neighbors said.
Golding and her husband both worked in the movie industry and had recently moved to the basement apartment of the two-story home, the neighbors said.
