Ja Morant traded to Trail Blazers in end to troubled Grizzlies tenure
Ja Morant’s time with the Grizzlies is over.
Morant was traded to the Trail Blazers on Monday in a move that is likely to turn the NBA upside down, ESPN’s Shams Charania reported.
In return, the Grizzlies will get Jerami Grant and Kris Murray.
The trade ends a seven-season run for Morant with the organization that took him second overall in the 2019 NBA draft, and in recent seasons was filled with legal issues and repeated punishments for gun-related conduct.
