Mayor Zohran Mamdani announced the date after the incredible NBA Finals victory over the San Antonio Spurs.

Soon after the team’s clinching win on Saturday, city officials started preparing for the major event to rejoice over the team’s long-awaited championship.

“It may well be the largest parade in New York City history,” Mamdani said Monday. “And I think that speaks to what this team means to this city. It also speaks to 53 years of waiting.”

While the Knicks won championships twice in the early 1970s, no ticker-tape parades were held.

Here’s information on the parade:

Ticker-tape schedule — what time is the Knicks parade?

The parade is expected to get underway at 10 a.m.

When should people arrive?

Revelers are encouraged to show up as early as they can.

“We encourage New Yorkers to show up early, I would say two hours, but I know that New Yorkers will likely come far before then,” the mayor said.

Parade route map — where does the parade start and end?

The celebration will begin around Battery Park and travel about a mile north on Broadway through the Canyon of Heroes before reaching City Hall, where a ceremony will be held and players will be awarded keys to the city.

What celebs and politicians are attending?

It’s unclear which famous Knicks fans will be on hand, but it could include some of the celebratory row mainstays, including Spike Lee, Timothée Chalamet and Ben Stiller. Mamdani, as mayor, is expected to be on hand and a flood of other state and city elected officials will likely want to be there.

Where is the best place to watch?

Finding a spot along Broadway would give fans the best view of the parade.

Weather forecast

The morning will bring humid conditions with temperatures expected to reach the mid-80s. Thunderstorms could roll in the late afternoon or early evening, according to an AccuWeather forecast.

“It’s not going to be as hot as what it was over the weekend, but the overall should be a favorable for a parade,” Accuweather meteorologist Matt Benz told The Post on Monday.
